MODELS AND CRITERIA FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SERVICE SECTOR IN REGIONS

Abstract

This article analyzes modern models for developing the service sector in regions and the criteria
for their evaluation. Within the scope of the topic, the main models of service sector development in regions are
classified, and it is determined that their selection depends on the region’s economic specialization, population size,
and level of infrastructure development. Based on the results of regression analysis, the most significant factors
influencing the development of the sector in the Kashkadarya region were identified, and recommendations were
developed for the implementation of promising models in districts.
