Abstract

Underdevelopment of speech from the phonetic-phonemic side is a process of disruption of the formation of the system of pronunciation of sounds in the communicative language in children as a result of deficiencies in the
process of pronunciation and perception of sounds. In this case, speech defects are preceded by a violation of the
phonetic and phonemic side of speech, which is based on defects in perception and pronunciation. At the same time,
children sometimes have a pronounced lag in lexical-grammatical development. Another condition characteristic of
children with phonetic-phonematic speech disorders is the incomplete formation of sounds that differ in their articu
latory or acoustic characteristics. The presence of undifferentiated sounds in speech, the substitution of sounds,
their non-use in the speech process, the distortion of many sounds, and the insufficient differentiation of sounds by
hearing are observed in children with this condition.
