This article analyzes the theoretical foundations and practical features of developing the regional economy
on the principles of "green" economy. Also, factors such as environmental sustainability, rational use of resources, and
the introduction of alternative energy sources are considered from the point of view of their impact on the socioeconomic development of the region. At the end of the study, problems and recommendations for their elimination
were developed.
