The role of transport infrastructure in national economic development

Abstract

This article systematically examines the role and significance of transport infrastructure in national
economic development. First, the mechanisms by which transport infrastructure stimulates the economy are
analyzed; then, using Uzbekistan as a case study, the current state, efficiency, and development strategies of
transport infrastructure and logistics systems are discussed. The article demonstrates how infrastructure investment,
integration of transport networks, and modern infrastructure conditions influence economic growth. The conclusion
offers policy recommendations and future prospects.
