Abstract

The article describes the fact that production efficiency in industrial sectors is one of the current topical
issues, and the opinions of a number of foreign and local scientists aimed at increasing it. The distinctive features of
the industrial sector from other sectors of the economy, the main directions of the theory of industrial development,
commonalities and differences in the directions of the endogenous growth theory, the characteristics of the Leontief
model and the endogenous growth theory, and the characteristics of the Leontief model in the development of
industrial sectors are theoretically highlighted, and conclusions and proposals are made in this regard.
