Socio-economic levels of informal relations in an innovative economy

The changes taking place in international economic relations over the past ten years have marked the
beginning of the formation of new approaches in various areas of interstate relations, due to the transition from a
unipolar to a multipolar world order. Any transition period contributes to a sharp increase in the share of informal
economic relations, which is dangerous for society. The relevance of the research topic is determined by the
importance of solving problems related to the increasing scale of the informal sector of the economy in modern Russia, where various informal economic relations take place at all levels and spheres of the national economy. As
part of the development of theoretical and methodological tools for countering informal economic relations, which
contribute to reducing threats to the country's economic security, the article shows the socio-economic levels of
informal relations in order to further determine the conditions for effective government influence on the informal
sector of the economy and develop approaches to assessing the amount of concealment of entrepreneurial activity
in an innovative economy. The main provisions can become the basis of methodological and information support in
the creation of programs for managing the development of innovative economy entities, as well as be used in the
educational process and research activities of higher education institutions, research centers and institutes.
