This article analyzes the role and importance of the digital economy in the effective organization of
innovative activities in industrial enterprises. It highlights the opportunities for optimizing production processes, using resources efficiently, ensuring transparency in management, and enhancing enterprise competitiveness
through the application of digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, digital twins, and Internet
of Things (IoT) tools. Furthermore, based on scientific literature, the paper examines the advantages of the digital
economy in innovative development and its practical implementation directions.
