Abstract

The article examines the main regional challenges in one of Uzbekistan’s territories – the Kashkadarya
region. Key issues are analyzed through the service sector and the agricultural image of the region. Tourism is
identified as one of the effective tools for increasing income levels and reducing unemployment in rural areas.
Municipal regulations are presented as examples of how existing problems are addressed. In this context, preferences
and tax incentives are considered the primary approach to solving difficulties. Furthermore, the transformation of
regional economics is illustrated through methods of state regulation, describing the overall process of change.
