Abstract

This article examines the activities of farms within the framework of sustainable development principles
and the green economy concept. The research analyzes the key aspects of improving economic efficiency, rational
use of resources, ensuring environmental safety, and strengthening social well-being in agricultural practices. Based
on statistical data, reports of international organizations (FAO, World Bank, IFAD), and recent scientific publications,
the study reveals that water and energy efficiency in Uzbek farms remains insufficient. However, farms that have
introduced modern agro-technologies demonstrate higher levels of both economic and ecological performance. A
comparison with international experience confirms that the adoption of green economy practices can significantly
accelerate the transition of Uzbekistan’s agriculture toward sustainable development.
