ISSUES OF STRENGTHENING THE FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

This article examines the pressing issues of strengthening the financial support of higher education institutions in Uzbekistan. The effective functioning of the higher education system and the preparation of competitive specialists directly impact the country’s economic and social development. The study analyzes funding sources such as the state budget, tuition fees, grants, and private investments. Particular emphasis is placed on increasing financial autonomy, efficient resource utilization, and implementing performance-based financing mechanisms. The research findings contribute to enhancing the stability of higher education institutions and improving the quality of education.
