Abstract

This research paper is developed based on the strategic programs of the Republic of Uzbekistan
regarding regional economic policy and the regulation of migration processes. It encompasses the theoretical,
methodological, and practical foundations for assessing the impact of labor migration on territorial development. The
article provides a profound theoretical analysis of the conceptual characteristics of migration flows through the prism
of Push-pull factors, the Harris-Todaro classical model, and the New Economics of Labor Migration (NELM) theories
