Abstract

This article examines four key levels of heritage environments that influence the formation of
historical and cultural tourism. As a conceptual framework, a three-level heritage environment model for shaping
historical and cultural tourism experiences is proposed. The model is based on the integration of tangible and
intangible heritage, the natural environment, and modern infrastructure.
