Abstract

This article analyzes the role of the service sector in ensuring employment and enhancing the well-being of
the population in rural areas. The study explores the impact of services on the economic development of rural regions,
their contribution to increasing employment levels, and the opportunities for improving living standards through a
scientific approach. During the research, key indicators for evaluating the development of the service sector in rural
areas were identified, including the growth of household incomes, the creation of new jobs, and the diversification of
service types. Furthermore, the article discusses existing challenges such as insufficient infrastructure, difficulties in
attracting investments, and the shortage of skilled labor.
