Abstract

The article provides a scientific and theoretical analysis of the impact of the human factor on the
efficiency of the transport system under digital management conditions. Although the implementation of
intelligent transport systems and information and communication technologies has contributed to the digitalization
of management processes, the role of the human factor remains highly significant. The article also examines the
theoretical foundations of digital management systems — the systemic approach, modeling of information flows,
and principles of human–machine integration. Based on this, an integral index model has been developed using
criteria for evaluating human performance, demonstrating its potential applications in the transport sector. The
results indicate that considering the human factor in digital management systems is a decisive element in enhancing
safety and efficiency. Furthermore, the study proposes establishing scientific laboratories to study the human factor,
developing management standards, and implementing an efficiency assessment system based on AI and Big Data
technologies.
