Abstract

this article provides a comprehensive analysis of the socio-economic consequences of the development
of non-traditional and renewable energy sources (NTRES) in Uzbekistan. Based on the analysis of statistical data,
case studies of implemented projects, and expert interviews, key trends have been identified: significant growth
in investments, creation of new jobs, improved energy accessibility in remote regions, and reduction of carbon
emissions. The study also reveals systemic barriers, such as insufficient grid infrastructure and a shortage of qualified personnel. The research aims to optimize the energy transition and maximize its positive impact on the economy and
society of Uzbekistan.
