In this work, film solar dryers (greenhouse type) with a conventional polyethylene film and a composite film of polyethylene + functional ceramics are experimentally investigated. The experiments were carried out under the same conditions on three different objects: in the open air; in a film solar dryer with a composite film of polyethylene + functional ceramics; in a film solar dryer with conventional polyethylene film. Experiments show that, when providing the required temperature and convection (airspeed) in a film solar dryer with a composite film of polyethylene + functional ceramics, the drying rate will be relatively higher than in other options.
